A growing consumer services company based in Culver City seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join the Accounting team. This role supports day-to-day accounting operations, month-end close, and financial reporting while collaborating cross-functionally across the organization. The role offers a hybrid work schedule, blending in-office collaboration with remote flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
• Perform balance sheet account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes as needed
• Assist with preparation of financial statements and internal reports
• Maintain accurate general ledger records in accordance with GAAP
• Support audits by preparing schedules and responding to requests
• Analyze expenses and variances against budget
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and special projects

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of accounting or related finance experience
• Experience in consumer services, hospitality, retail, or a service-based industry preferred
• Understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
